re-lining with no-dig technology

Drainage pipe repairs without the need for costly excavation work

Using no-dig pipe repair methods Eco Drains are able to re-line most pipes without the time, cost and mess associated with open-cut excavation.

By inserting and then inflating a hardened epoxy-strengthened lining inside the pipes we can eliminate problems such as leaking or open joints, root invasion and cracks.

This method is suitable for domestic, industrial and commercial drainage and plumbing problems and achieves a permanent structural repair. The materials do not rely on the existing pipe for support or structural integrity and can withstand much greater ground movement than traditional drainage materials. As such, pipe-in-pipe repairs have a very high life-expectancy.

Patch lining

Patch lining is an efficient and cost effective method of repairing cracked or leaking pipes, offset and open joints, root intrusion damage or other forms of leak without the need for excavation. Patch lining is most suitable when a pipe is only damaged in one or two areas where full re-lining is not necessary.

A CCTV inspection of the pipe is first carried out to establish the location of damaged area(s). The patch liner material is then covered with a resin and mounted on an inflatable tube. The tube and patch are inserted into the pipe and inflated to bond the patch with the damaged section of pipe. Once the resin has hardened the inflatable tube is removed from the pipe leaving a strong, durable repair.
